PPE SPEAKER SERIES

The PPE speakers team brings together influential and industry-leading experts from the areas of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics to bring a wider depth of understanding and perspectives to students at the University of Warwick. We also welcomed leading academics on key topics like Economic Justice, Sustainable Economics and the author of 'Can You Run The Economy?', Joe Mayes, another popular event with free pizza for all attendees. As well as this we heard from renowned philosopher Richard Swinburne who gave a talk on why a Good God would allow suffering. Throughout 2025 we brought in a range of speakers and have even bigger events planned for 2026, where we will host a wide variety of speakers.

Our podcast, PPE Unfiltered, brings together a diverse range of perspectives and opinions on current news and controversial topics to bridge the gap between PPE at Warwick and its practical applications. We have released podcasts on topics such as wellbeing and extremism, and we look forward to our future podcasts as we aim to release episodes around once every 2 weeks.
